The Apostle Paul edifies that the shaking will be caused by the straight testimony (Haggai 2:6, Hebrews 12:26). He relays that a standard must be set requiring behaviors perfectly aligning with the counsel of the True Witness. To the Laodicean church, one must fully heed Yeshua's straight testimony: and, we must be under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, converted in our hearts and minds. A daily self-examination must occur, evaluating Christ’s formation within our hearts (Galatians 4:19, Colossians 1:27). This straight testimonial message was sent by EGW, a messenger, and Prophet, to the Adventist world, instructing those to seek out their sealed position in relationship to Christ (Early Writings page 269-271). There is no neutral ground regarding Christ, the Way, Truth and Life (John 14:6, Revelation 14:14-21).

The unadulterated gospel must be presented without reluctance, teaching the need for eye salve, a remedy for Laodicea’s nakedness, wretchedness and blindness (Revelation 3:14-21). Without apology, righteous loud cry messengers are required by God to deliver a straight testimony of Truth, aimed at the final goal, a vindication of God’s government. Such a testimony should be directed to all, calling God’s people out of both Laodicea and Spiritual Babylon. Satan during these end times will unsuccessfully attempt to deceive even the very elect (Matthew 24:24). Thus, God’s remnant are required to maintain an unrelenting, abiding relationship with Christ, allowing God, the Father, to continually replace fruitless branches, preparing them for forthcoming plagues and destruction on earth (John 15:1-7, Revelation 15:1-8, 16:1-21).

Without faith it is impossible to please God, therefore a person lacking faith can not be sealed or have victory over sin, while perfecting character (Hebrews 11:6, Matthew 5:48, 1John 3:9). Christ’s gift of righteousness permits His remnant to continually advance in sanctification (Ephesians 2:8-10, Philippians 3:9-11, 2 Peter 3:18). Proverbs 4:18 edifies that “… the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day”.
